Hi I'm Sarah
For nearly 20 years, I’ve been crafting integrated communication and marketing strategies that not only get noticed but also make an impact.
I started my career in the tourism and hospitality industry working on projects that helped drive economic impact in Southwestern Ontario. My time in this industry taught me the importance of understanding the user experience.
For the last ten years I have led social media at a large reputable Ontario College, where I've built one of Canada’s strongest higher-education social media teams from the ground up. While there I have also contributed to students communications through a variety of projects and initiatives. Here I found my passion and strength for leading diverse teams while executing a student (user) first approach to branded communications.
Unfortunately Ontario Colleges are struggling right now due to a lack of provincial funding and many people, like myself, are losing their jobs. For me this provided an opportunity to reflect on my career and assess what I wanted for my future.
I am currently seeking leadership positions in marketing and communications that allow me to shape strategy, inspire teams, and create meaningful connections between organizations and the audiences they serve.
